Not bad praise, right?

The product, which costs £2.75, is new to the supermarket’s range but is already receiving plenty of five-star reviews on the Iceland website.

The retailer is well known for its popular products, with shoppers often keen to snap up everything from baked goods to pizza and desserts.

And one new Iceland item has been compared to McDonald’s, with some customers asking the supermarket not to stop stocking it.

Like other similar shops, Iceland regularly adds new items to its stock, and it recently introduced the Max Snax 10 Breakfast Hash Browns.

The hash browns come in 500g packs, each priced at £2.75, and can be cooked in an oven, air fryer, pan, or deep fat fryer.

One happy customer said: “Hash browns are a staple in my life, these are way better than McDonald’s, these cook quick in the air fryer, 12 minutes 180, no hard bits, nice taste, love them, will always buy these, it’s a win win really, I usually have two from McDonald’s, but now why bother, five stars.”

A second praised: “Great hash browns, just as good as McDonalds. Cooked them in the air fryer”.

A third lauded: “These are lovely, like McDonald’s hash browns. I will deffo buy them again, lovely on burgers, bacon rolls, anything to be honest.

“I deep fried on 170 for three mins, they were lovely and crisp. Please don’t get rid of these, keep them”.

Fancy trying them out for yourself? Then why not head over to your nearest Iceland.
